Description
Join us as Jim Brink takes us back several decades to examine how civilized societies were forced to facilitate scientific progress against the backdrop of barbaric inhumanity. His knowledge and insight are sure to help us gain a greater understanding of how those who ultimately lost the war propelled the world into the greatest technological breakthroughs. This is a survey of the technological progresses brought about by the worst belligerents in World War One. • Wednesday, September 13,2017 • 2:00-3:30pm • Fee: $15 • Location: Museum of Texas Tech University at 3301 4th St. • Instructor: Jim Brink If you would like to obtain a catalog or would like to view all of the non-credit offerings designed for adults age 50+ from OLLI this fall semester, call 806-742-6554 or visit www.olli.ttu.edu.
