Congratulations to Monica Gutierrez for being awarded Ambassador of the Month for February! Gutierrez is the Director of Sales for     Ashmore Inn and Suites. Gutierrez has been an active Lubbock Chamber  Ambassador since she joined the team at Ashmore in     December 2018. This is Gutierrez’ first time receiving the distinction of Ambassador of the Month.

    Gutierrez said that while she enjoys attending ribbon cutting and Business After Hours with her fellow Ambassadors, her favorite     Chamber events to volunteer her time are Hub City BBQ and Business Expo.  Gutierrez said that being a part of the Ambassador     program is so rewarding because of the welcoming atmosphere and all the friendships she has made so far.

    Gutierrez’ position at Ashmore Inn &Suites requires her to form relationships with businesses and other groups to encourage     reserving a block of hotel rooms or using conference rooms for corporate events.  Gutierrez said that her experience as an Ambassador has been so important because it allows her to recognize and show support to other businesses within the community.

 Outside of the Chamber, Gutierrez also enjoys serving the community by volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day Committee and Warriorup- The Betty Croy Foundation. Gutierrez is also and member and visitor host with BNI Connect 4 Success.
