• Lubbock Chamber Continues to Update COVID-19 Information and Resource Center

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is continuing to update its COVID-19 Information and Resource Center at http://www.lubbockchamber.com/covid-19-info-resources with news, tools and information about assistance for local businesses and the community at large.
First launched in early March, the Resource Center has regularly posted breaking updates, Small Business Administration (SBA) funding assistance information for local businesses, information from City, State and Federal government, FAQs, as well as uniquely local content from school districts and local businesses offering solutions in areas such as remote working and cleaning/disinfecting.
The Resource Center also links to a Chamber questionnaire to measure local business impact where businesses may also express how the Chamber can best assist them. The Chamber is sharing this information of this pandemic’s impact on the business community with Mayor Pope and City Manager Atkinson as well as the Board of Directors.
“Much of the information is a great resource for how businesses are dealing with this unprecedented challenge, but all Lubbock citizens can find useful information here. We are very interested to learn about local business challenges, opportunities and assistance and how we can best support them,” said Eddie McBride, Lubbock Chamber President and CEO. We are all in this together, and as champions for a stronger community every day, we know Lubbock will come out of this even stronger than before.”
McBride also encouraged businesses and community members to follow the Chamber’s social media accounts at Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn where updates and breaking developments are also posted.
