LUBBOCK, Texas – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Lubbock are excited to announce this year’s Top Twenty Under Forty award recipients. The following will be honored at a banquet on Tues., Nov. 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion.
This initiative aims to recognize outstanding individuals under the age of 40 who exemplify leadership in their careers, while actively participating in making Lubbock a better place to live, work, play, learn and raise a family.
The featured speaker will be Matt Ernst, News Director and Chief Meteorologist at Ramar Communications and a former Top Twenty Under Forty award recipient. He is a Texas Tech alumnus, with a degree in broadcast journalism, atmospheric science minor and holds the broadcast meteorology certificate from Mississippi State University. He has also covered some of the biggest news stories in Lubbock over the past 15 years since joining the FOX34 team in 2006. Ernst is also a member of Young Professionals of Lubbock, the Texas Tech Alumni Association and National Weather Association.
