LUBBOCK, Texas – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a City Council and Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees reception on Mon., May 21 from 5– 6:30 p.m. at the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, 1500 Broadway, Suite 101. The reception sponsored by Parkhill, Smith & Cooper will honor those leaving their seats and welcome those re-elected and newly-elected to serve.
The reception, open to the public, will thank City Councilwoman, Karen Gibson, for her service as well as LISD Board of Trustees: Laura Vinson, James Arnold, and Mark Blankenship. The Chamber will welcome re-elected Mayor Dan Pope along with City Councilmen Juan Chadis, District 1, and Jeff Griffith, District 3, as wells as Zach Brady, LISD Board of Trustees At-Large. The reception will welcome newly elected City Councilman, Randy Christian (District 5) and LISD Board of Trustees: Beth Bridges (At-Large), Benjamin Webb (District 3), and Ryan Curry (District 4).
