Conquering Your Goals With Referrals
How Badly Do You Want To Accomplish Your Goals? When you have a vision, it is your goals that provide direction, motivation, and the framework to take action necessary to achieve them. Identifying your company’s core values is a fundamental step on the road to creating achievable goals because once you define your values, you have the answer to a very important question: “Why do I do what I do?”
The next step is to identify what purpose your goal serves as it relates to your core values.
Visualization is a great way to determine this and to put energy behind your ideas to help them come to life. To do this, you might set up a vision board in your office posted with images, ideas, and steps to communicate, focus and encourage creative thinking.
Your long-term goal is aligned with your company’s mission and purpose and sets the course for your ‘big picture’ vision. (This typically involves growth in four major areas of your company: service, social profit, and growth.)
Short-term goals, on the other hand, are actionable items, and setting them requires specificity, a timeframe, and a strategy for measuring how they get you closer to your overall, long-term goal.
The following questions can help you get clear on your short-term goals:
- Specificity - What is your specific goal?
- Measurability - How do you measure your progress toward your long-term goal?
- Achievability - What you will gain by achieving the goal?
- Relevance - What does achieving goal mean for your business?
- Timeliness - What is the time frame is for achieving the goal?
With your goals in mind, the next step is putting a plan in place to achieve them.
My Name Is Steve Black And I Am Eager To Help You Make Your Goals Real With Referrals!I work with individuals and organizations to help them develop referral creation strategies and systems that will help them:
- Create more referrals from clients
- Build relationships with other businesses and professionals to get referrals on a regular basis
- Understand the VCP© process and how it applies to getting referrals for their business
In fact, referrals can be the least expensive customer you can get and also have the biggest return on investment. What do I mean by that?
Referred customers, on average:
- Spend 3 to 4 times more in the first year
- Are 2.5 times more likely to refer you to someone else
- Stay with you 4 times longer
My passion and my goal is to help as many business professionals as I can grow their business through the power of relationship marketing.
Are you ready to grow?
