LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce today announced the launch of LubbockAg.com, a new website devoted to providing accurate information about agriculture in Lubbock and the surrounding areas. The site is accessible at www.lubbockag.com.

“This website will be a fantastic resource for anyone looking for more information about agriculture, our No. 1 economic driver,” said Joe Rapier, chairman of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. “In Lubbock, agriculture is business, and we are proud to support and promote it any way we can.”

The site was designed by former Chamber intern Rae Buchanan in partnership with the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications at Texas Tech as an internship project. A subcommittee from the Chamber’s Agriculture Committee directed the site’s development.

The site will be updated frequently and complements the Chamber’s current efforts in agricultural education and advocacy.
