Is your BBQ the best in West Texas? Compete and find out at the 9th Annual Hub City BBQ Cook-off, presented by Suddenlink West Texas, to be held Thursday, September 23, in downtown Lubbock, just west of the new Chamber offices!


Team entry fee will be $100 for all teams (including amateur) except student teams which will pay $50. Companies may choose which division they wish to participate - Corporate, Professional or Amateur/Student. Space is at a premium, so send in your entry form and get your cooker ready!


The event will be open to the public from 5-9 p.m. Thursday evening.

The Hub City BBQ committee plans and conducts this growing event, which started in 2002 with 12 teams. In 2009, almost 80 teams competed for top honors and bragging rights, and more than 7,000 people attended. The cook-off is not sanctioned.
