It’s no secret that agriculture is a driving force in the West Texas and Lubbock economy, and the Chamber provides several opportunities for you to make a difference.
The Agriculture Committee is the longest-standing committee in the Chamber, and works not only to educate the public about agriculture and enhance the agricultural literacy efforts of other entities, but also to provide information for the Chamber to advocate on behalf of all its members on agricultural issues that affect our everyday lives.
The Water Conservation Council is dedicated to educating Lubbock and the surrounding area about conserving water, especially since our water supply from the Ogallala Aquifer is depleting.
For more information on any of these committees and other ag events you can contact Norma Ritz Johnson, Vice President of Legislative Affairs, by e-mail or by phone at 806.761.7000.
