Why did you choose to become an ambassador for the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce?I joined to learn more about the community, network and see how I could serve and better help others.
How long have you been an ambassador?
I’ve been an ambassador since July of this year.
Have you ever won this award before?
No, this is my first time.
As an ambassador, what are some of your favorite events to attend?
I love the ribbon cuttings!
What do you feel is the most rewarding part of being an ambassador?
I have learned about so many businesses and non-profits since joining the Ambassador Program. It has allowed me to meet people and bring awareness of business, while learning about opportunities to serve!
Why is being an ambassador important to you?
In the few short months of being an ambassador, I feel like it has enhanced my understanding of what is going on in Lubbock. It has really opened my eyes to the amazing people of our city and many of the needs. It is so important for me now to be a part of serving others through the Chamber!

Being new to the chamber, I’m not sure yet!
Are you involved in any new activities/events with the Chamber?
I volunteered for the Hub City BBQ.
Outside of the Chamber, what are you involved with?
I am very involved with my church and Greater Southwest Lubbock Rotary, and I've started to become involved with the local SHRM chapter.
