Congratulations to the December Ambassador of the Month, Greg Rodriguez! Rodriguez is a sales manager at the Lubbock West location of La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham. Rodriguez has been involved with the Ambassador program for the last seven months and this is his first time to receive the award.

Rodriguez said that he chose to become an Ambassador to meet new people and develop new contacts in the Lubbock business community. At the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham, Rodriguez is responsible for building and maintaining local accounts by providing personal touches and genuine sincerity with all accounts and guests. Rodriquez said that being an Ambassador is important to him because he is able to maintain his public presence so people know that he is someone they can count on, professionally and personally.

Rodriguez’s favorite part of being an ambassador is attending ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings for new businesses. He said that it is rewarding to see local people accomplish their dreams of owning a business.

Rodriguez has been a sales manager at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham for three and a half years and outside of work and his Lubbock Chamber duties, he enjoys sporting events, spending time with friends and family and going to the movies.
