Congratulations to Tobe Callahan for being awarded April Ambassador of the Month! This is Callahan’s second time receiving this award and he said that he enjoys serving as an ambassador because he is able to give back and help out other businesses in Lubbock. Callahan is the General Manager at the Office Depot on Slide Road and has been with the company for 15 years.

Callahan says that his role at Office Depot means that he must be a champion for change, he focuses on constantly finding the right people for the right role in his store. Callahan says that he saw an opportunity for partnership with the Lubbock Chamber after a ribbon cutting to celebrate a recent remodel at Office Depot, which made him confident about joining the Ambassador team.

Callahan says that his time spent as an Ambassador is important because he is able to make connections and show how even though his Office Depot is part of a larger corporation, his store can still be helpful in making the Lubbock business community a success.

Office Depot is a supporter of the Hub City BBQ and Business Expo and Callahan also shares information in his store about the benefits of being a Chamber member.
